When living a healthy lifestyle, it can be difficult sticking to your food plan. If you don't think you can stomach another meal of bland chicken and broccoli, take a look at the recipes below that we have created to satisfy the need for flavor and variety.

These recipes are healthy, full of flavor, and won't ruin all of your hard work in the gym! Also, recipes marked "Competition friendly!" are fine to use all the way through competition dieting.

Healthy Orange Chicken (competition friendly!)

Ingredients:

16 oz lean chicken breast
¼ cup DaVinci Sugar Free Orange Syrup
2 tbs Apple Cider vinegar
2 tsp Low sodium soy sauce
¼ tsp Garlic powder
¼ tsp Powdered ginger
¼ tsp Ground mustard
¼ tsp Dried basil

Cut chicken into bite-size pieces and cook in skillet with Pam Olive Oil spray over medium heat. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and pour over chicken while cooking & also over chicken as a sauce once cooked.

Number of Servings: 4 (if diet calls for 4 oz of protein)

Grilled Coconut Mahi Mahi (competition friendly!)

Ingredients:
¼ cup DaVinci Sugar free coconut syrup
¼ tsp Paprika
¼ tsp Curry powder
1 tbs Low sodium soy sauce
¼ tsp Garlic powder
½ tsp Lime juice from concentrate or fresh
16 oz Mahi Mahi

Mix all ingredients together and apply to fish. You can marinate for 2 hours or go ahead and grill immediately.

Number of Servings: 4 (if diet calls for 4 oz of fish)

'This has gotta be bad for me!' Meatloaf

Ingredients:

1 lb 99% fat free ground turkey
1/2 cup egg whites
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 15 oz can all natural tomato sauce
2 tbs ground oregano
2 tbs French's Worcestershire sauce
2 tbs yellow mustard
2 tbs dried basil
2 tbs garlic powder
2 tbs onion powder

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine all ingredients together (leaving a portion of the tomato sauce for the top of the loaf) in large bowl and thoroughly mix together. Coat meatloaf pan or 9x9 pan with calorie free cooking spray and pour in mixture. Cook for approximately 60 minutes.

*If you are watching your carbohydrate and calorie intake more closely, you can decrease the oatmeal to 1/4 cup, and substitute calorie free Walden Farms Marinara Sauce for the Tomato Sauce in the original recipe. This will reduce the calories to 175 and the carbs to only 4g.
